We walk through the full process of building out a custom floor, starting with R5 insulation for sound dampening and support, followed by marine grade plywood that is cut to fit each section of the boat. From there, the boat is professionally sealed and 3D scanned to create a custom Ultra Deck flooring system, finished with a unique topographic map design inspired by a lake here in British Columbia. The result is a durable, low maintenance jon boat floor that performs in tough Canadian conditions while adding a clean, high end look.
We also install a sliding seat system, including rail mounting, hardware setup, and final assembly, turning the jon boat into a more versatile and comfortable fishing platform.
